A chef, author, dedicated humanitarian, and tv personality, Chef Grace Ramirez has become a world leader who brings her Latin American heritage and charisma to the vast audiences of Oceanía and the Americas. During the darkest months of the Covid-19 pandemic in NYC, she partnered with Chef Jose Andres and World Central Kitchen to supervise production and quality control for more than 100,000 meals a day, which fed frontline workers and community members in need. Its chapters illuminate the fragilities of global and local food systems, and call on readers to use food and culture as a vehicle to drive systems-level transformation.

The cookbook features an introduction by restauranter, activist, and entrepreneur Kimbal Musk and 75 recipes from chefs, indigenous peoples, and farmers, including chefs José Andrés, Daniel Boulud, Massimo Bottura, Grace Ramirez, Andrew Zimmern and 70 contributors from indigenous communities and farms around the world who have signed on to improving the world’s food system.
